Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.This position is responsible for configuring, installing, fitting, and maintaining various piping systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of those systems.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:---

• Plans, prepares, installs, and maintains piping composed of various materials.
• Consults blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions; creates working procedure based on specifications.
• Gathers equipment and materials for the job.
• Cuts, bends, threads, and fits pipes.
• Attaches pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps, cuts or bores holes prior to project.
• Inspects pipes, testing for pressure and leaks; reports and/or resolves problems.
• Coordinates with manager to schedule machinery maintenance, repairs, and installation to minimize disruption to operations.
• Complies with applicable safety and building codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Maintains records, including safety logs and inspection details.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.Education/Qualification:---
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred. Any vocational training is strongly desired.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
  • Ability to use a variety of tools, which may include blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a minimum of two years Fire Sprinkler Pipe Fitter experience.Other Duties:
    • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:
      • Prolonged periods standing and stretching to install and repair pipes and pipe fittings.
      • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
      • Must possess visual acuity required to inspect piping systems and read plans or blueprints.Benefits and Perks:
