Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to manage
and optimize cloud-based database systems.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of
cloud-based databases
Support mission-critical SQL databases with advanced
troubleshooting and performance tuning
Collaborate with DevOps teams on production changes and provide
database expertise to engineering teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or
equivalent work experience
7-10 years of experience supporting SQL Server in an enterprise
environment
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Familiarity with SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and various database systems
like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
Willingness to participate in a 24X7 on-call rotation for
production outages
