Vino - our latest Miami project, opening soon in Coconut Grove, is a new concept from Major Food Group celebrating timeless artisanship and the most coveted wines of Italy.
The menu features an extensive selection of handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entr--es, and fresh gelato served table-side.
As a valuable member of our team, we seek a passionate and dedicated Prep Cook who can ensure that guests have a pleasant and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  
• Prepare food for service, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  
• Answer, report, and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
  
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  
• Stock inventory appropriately
  
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required
    
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred
    
  • Team-orientated and positive attitude
    
  • Strong communication skills a must
    
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    
  • Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
