We are seeking a highly skilled Chef De Partie to join our culinary team at Pier Sixty-Six Resort, a premier destination for discerning guests. As a key member of our culinary department, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences that exceed our guests' expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues to achieve common goals.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards.
• Supervise junior cooks and ensure they meet the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Monitor and maintain the quality and quantity of food prepared, adhering to food safety and handling procedures.
• Regulate oven temperatures and maintain good preservation standards for food products.
• Communicate with colleagues to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Inform the Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials.
• Establish and maintain effective inter-departmental working relationships.
  
  Additional Responsibilities:
  
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
