### Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Water's Edge Dermatology. As a Cosmetic Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting with Cosmetic and Plastic surgery procedures, ensuring exceptional patient care and satisfaction.

### Key Responsibilities

* Assist with surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to strict protocols
* Prepare patients for exams and procedures, obtaining and documenting accurate patient history and medical information
* Label specimen containers properly, take photos of biopsy/surgical sites, and prepare specimens for lab analysis
* Maintain clean, fully stocked, and organized rooms, adhering to infection control standards
* Perform triage, including Rx refills, prior authorizations, post-op calls, and prescription side effects
* Provide patients with post-op instructions, teaching, and education on skin care, wound care, and prescription information

### Requirements

* Registered Nurse license
* 2 years of plastics experience in a physician's office with recent proven technical and clinical skills
* Experience assisting in a surgical setting
* Ability to work well independently, but ask for help when needed
* Ability to use applicable technology and systems
