• ACLS & BLS required via AHA.
• - NIH required.
  • Job Details
  • 29 bed Stepdown Unit - not Tele or ICU; ideal candidate is ICU RN that would care for S/D pts - unit is more like IMCU. Tele and Stepdown pts. NP Ratio 1:3;
  • NIGHT SHIFT WITH EVERY OTHER WEEK REQUIRED;
  • Holidays (if needed);
  • Must be willing to float to other Tele floors as needed.
    • Job Requirements
    • Two years recent Stepdown experience (within last 3 years) required.
    • Heavy pt load - pts are total care, unit operates like being in ICU just no vents.
    • Skills: Airway Management, Management of Dysrhythmias, Central Line Management, IV Drips, Isolation precautions, Interpretation of ABGs, Management of pts w multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
    • Cerner experience.
    • Active FL/Compact license.
    • Experienced nurses must have 2 years minimum experience and minimum 80 hour critical care course OR 5 years experience in acute care ICU.
    • Degree must be from an accredited school OR have a degree from an institution that is approved by FBON in addition to having 2 yrs recent acute care experience - experience must be consecutive within the past 24 months in a US hospital, per facility requirements.
    • Must have Epic experience.

      • NIGHT SHIFT WITH EVERY OTHER WEEK REQUIRED;

      • Must be willing to float to other Tele floors as needed.
