Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager, Subcontracts to oversee the
lifecycle of subcontracts, including strategy development,
negotiation, and management.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee supply chain activities and manage supplier performance to
ensure compliance with schedules and cost targets
Develop strategic acquisition solutions and provide expert support
for proposal activities
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across Supply Chain and lead a
team of Subcontracts Administrators and Managers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of related experience
or a Graduate Degree with 7 years of experience
5 years of experience in Procurement and/or Subcontracts
In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements and Prime Contract flow
downs
Experience managing various types of complex subcontracts,
including hardware and software
Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred
