The Commercial Product Consultant is part of the overall Straight Talk & Walmart Family Mobile Commercial team. The role includes supporting the development of strategic business plans to achieve corporate and brand volume, revenue and share targets.BRAND DEVELOPMENT:

  • Support overall brand strategy.
  • Support aspects of longer term brand strategy and development. This includes turnaround plans, process improvements, market disruption efforts, brand vision creation and implementation.
  • Participate in the 2-5 year Planning Process.BRAND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE:
    • Deliver business objectives including executing short-term volume-driving activities that help meet annual brand, financial and share goals.
    • Participate in the development of promotional opportunities and overall forward-looking calendar of promotional events.
    • Participate in Go-To-Market activities, including creating longer term calendar of messaging opportunities.BRAND/PRODUCT INITIATIVES:
      • Executing brand initiatives, working closely with the internal cross-functional teams, including Product teams.
      • Provide input into consumer-preferred Product & Innovation Roadmaps, both short and long-term.OTHER:
        • Assist in preparing marketing presentations for the brands, for both external and internal audiences.
        • Coordinate weekly status meetings, tracking key projects and timelines, facilitating the sharing of information, assets and files.
        • You will work closely with the Commercial, Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales and Finance teams. This role requires:
        • Strong business acumen.
        • Comfort in forward-looking activities, strategy, vision.
        • An understanding of how to manage and grow brand sales and share.
        • Strong interpersonal skills - collaborative, responsive.
        • The ability to set priorities and be flexible in changing environments.What we're looking for...You'll need to have:
          • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
          • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
          • Minimum 4 years in brand or product marketing.
          • Experience influencing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
          • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience regularly presenting to executive audiences.Even better if you have one or more of the following:
            • Prior experience in the CPG/FMCG, telecommunication, and/or retail marketing.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
