Description:Peterson's Harley-Davidson of Miami is looking to hire one Entry Level and one Master Technician. Year Round work and great benefits. These are full-time positions with a top ranked dealership Service Department which provides ongoing yearly training.Requirements:Qualifications required:Must be a Team Player1+ years Power Sports experience, Harley-Davidson experience a plus Accept work assignments from Service Writer/Manager Provide prompt, dependable, high quality work to both internal & external customersComplete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time period whenever possibleMaintain productivity as close to 100% as possibleRequest needed parts for each job as early as possible once needs are knownPerform service, repair, and customization work in accordance to factory specifications Assist Service Writer, when requested, with writing up work orders, communication with customers, test riding, or any other issue which will help ensure customer satisfaction Notify Service Writer/Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known so that customers may be contacted and notified of the delay After the job is finished ensure proper completion and filing of paperwork Keep work areas clean and safe, and assist others with maintaining the shops cleanlinessMaintain technical (PHD and other) qualifications by completing all necessary training programs assigned to you by the Service ManagerAny additional duties as assignedValid Motorcycle License or Motorcycle EndorsementEquipped with proper toolsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and a thorough background checkCustomer Service Minimize come-backs and deal with them promptly and satisfactorily when they do occur. Keep customers' vehicles cleaner than when they were dropped off Other DutiesAs assignedCommitments Treat all employees and customers fairly, courteously, with dignity and respect Model superior customer service behavior for all interactions with customers and employees.Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.Maintain up to date technical qualification (PHD and others) by completing all training programs assigned by the Service Manager.Focus on quality Qualifications & Job RequirementsCurrent Motorcycle license. Service Technicians need both basic and special tools to properly diagnose and service our products. All Service Technicians are required to own their own set of tools Physical DemandsThe noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Requires the use of both hands.Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools, and lift up to 75 lb. of material.Frequently requires the ability to balance and push a 900 lb. motorcycle Working Conditions Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.Occasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles Compensation details: 40000-100000 Yearly SalaryPIb67be7ee2ee3-25660-35870752
